About CNHC
CNHC is the UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners.
The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) began registration of practitioners in 2010. Its key function is to enhance public protection by giving the general public and commissioners of services access to a list of practitioners that have been assessed as meeting national standards of competence and practice.
The Department of Health recommends that members of the public consult with CNHC-registered practitioners, where CNHC registers the professional discipline concerned.Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council

Unified register
“With a unified Register of Members, patients and members of the public would then have a single, reliable point of reference for standards, and would be protected against the risk of poorly-trained practitioners and have redress for poor service”.
